Blended Entertainment “I’m Back”
Yes it’s true. I failed to blog not only about, but during my vacation to Florida. I enjoyed myself but now it’s back to work. We last left off with the All Star Weekend interview, so instead of covering some of what has happened in depth, we’ll go down through a quick rundown of some of the things that have happened.
- The NFL is still in lockout mode which is a shame.
- The NBA has since followed suit into lockout mode which is leaning towards being close to if not a season ending lockout.
- Wladimir Klitschko defeated “trash talker” David Haye in a lopsided unanimous decision.
- Cars 2, sequel to 2006’s hit movie Cars opened up to over $66 million in its’ opening weekend.
- Transformers 3 just wrapped up its’ opening weekend bringing in over $400 million worldwide.
- Maria Shriver officially filed the necessary divorce papers. I wonder when will see Arnold again.
- Novak Djokovic and Petra Kvitova won the Wimbledon Grand Slam this year, with Novak defeating Nadal and Kvitova defeating Maria Sharapova
- Last but not least, Charlie Sheen will be the next guy to be roasted this September on Comedy Central. This will be interesting to see. Two and a Half Men, with Ashton Kutcher commences an hour earlier on that same night.
This is not everything but just a tip of the iceberg of what happened while I was away on vacation.
The Kardashian Effect
Keeping up with the Kardashians return with its’ sixth season tonight at 10 pm eastern. You can expect more drama and a new addition to the show. That is Kim’s fiance
Kris Humphries. This family is a cash cow for the E network which is why there are and will continue to be many more spin-offs. For those who love the Kardashian family, be prepared for another season of laughter, tears, fights, and of course the most important aspect is love. The questions remains still, how do you feel about the Kardashian family and their continuing dominance of the E network with their of reality series?
DWTS Winner
Congratulations to Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver, Hines Ward for winning this season of DWTS. Hines won it with his dance partner, Kym Johnson. The current NFL Lockout did not discourage Hines Ward and neither did the neck injury that Kym suffered almost two weeks ago. Disney’s own Chelsea Kane came in third as Kirstie Alley took second. Here at Blended Entertainment, we congratulate all of them on a successful season that should benefit them all in their future endeavors.

Demi Lovato leaves SWAC
This is weird for me to speak of Demi Lovato in my first post not dedicated to sports but she has been through turmoils lately. Demi lovato has decided to leave her hit T.V show “Sonny With a Chance” to focus more on her music ambitions and most importantly being away from the Disney scene. Demi (as seen in the picture to the right) was the star and quite frankly best part about the show. SWAC returns for Season 3 in June and lets just say that it will lose ratings. Demi checked into rehab late last year and has dealt with both personal and emotional challenges. Disney is already coming off losing Miley Cyrus and “Hannah Montana” as well as upcoming series finales of Suite Life On Deck and Wizards of Waverly Place. The one thing that all these shows had in common, other than some attractive females, were that the audience felt like they grew up with the characters and the stories. Disney has a big test ahead of them. More to come in the future regarding The Disney Channel.
