NBA 2k13 Celebrity News

What better way to follow up one post from the entertainment world of video games than with another one. The NBA2K franchise is the king of all basketball games, and if you need any proof just head to Google and type NBA Live 13 and you’ll see what I mean. This installment of the 2K franchise seems to be better than ever with dribbling moves now being brought back to the analog sticks which will allow seamless one to one crossover moves. Now there is a lot to expect from this game but today I wanted to talk a bit about the celebrities that will be in the game. Some of these celebs will include Justin Bieber, Mac Miller, Sean Kingston, Meek Mill, Wale, Bow Wow, Pauly D, Willie Taylor, and more. The game will be in stores on Tuesday, October 2nd and it is executive produced by Jay Z. Check out Willie Taylor donning a purple & gold Lakers uniform below and go download his highly-acclaimed sophomore mixtape, The Reintroduction of Willie Taylor which you can find at this location.

Will 2012 be the Year for Lebron?

All of Blended Entertainment’s posts so far today have been related to either a break-up or an engagement. This next one has to do with the man who calls himself “King James”. Lebron James has done something that his naysayers, or anyone for that matter thought he’d never do. In celebration for  the New Years, and a belated birthday bash hosted by his teammate Dwayne Wade, Lebron proposed to the mother of his two children. There were about 60 close friends and family members at the party including Dwayne Wade’s girlfriend, Gabrielle Union and Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh. With Lebron focusing on repairing his image since the debacle his team suffered last season, will 2012 be the year he finally wins a championship?  No matter what happens this year in the NBA, he now in a position where he can everlasting union with his Fiance Savannah Brinson. Good luck Lebron and may 2012 be a successful year.

Blended Entertainment “I’m Back”

Yes it’s true. I failed to blog not only about, but during my vacation to Florida. I enjoyed myself but now it’s back to work. We last left off with the All Star Weekend interview, so instead of covering some of what has happened in depth, we’ll go down through a quick rundown of some of the things that have happened.

  • The NFL is still in lockout mode which is a shame.
  • The NBA has since followed suit into lockout mode which is leaning towards being close to if not a season ending lockout.
  • Wladimir Klitschko defeated “trash talker” David Haye in a lopsided unanimous decision.
  • Cars 2, sequel to 2006’s hit movie Cars opened up to over $66 million in its’ opening weekend.
  • Transformers 3 just wrapped up its’ opening weekend bringing in over $400 million worldwide.
  • Maria Shriver officially filed the necessary divorce papers. I wonder when will see Arnold again.
  •  Novak Djokovic and Petra Kvitova won the Wimbledon Grand Slam this year, with Novak defeating Nadal and Kvitova defeating Maria Sharapova
  • Last but not least, Charlie Sheen will be the next guy to be roasted this September on Comedy Central. This will be interesting to see. Two and a Half Men, with Ashton Kutcher commences an hour earlier on that same night.

This is not everything  but just a tip of the iceberg of what happened while I was away on vacation.

Kim and Kris Engaged

Kim Kardashian at the Seventh Annual Hollywood...

The next Mrs.Humphries

Kim Kardashian, who you may know from her famous family, their numerous t.v. shows, or some of her previous encounters in front of the camera, is engaged to NBA player Kris Humphries. Now for those who do not know, Kris plays for the New Jersey Nets and has been made more famous because of his relationship with Kim. It looks like Kim is finally ready to settle down with the 26 year old from Minnesota. Kris Humphries had career highs in every major statistical category this year and one is to believe that it was indeed the “Kardashian Effect”. Not much is known on the whereabouts and how the proposal went down exactly but it is known that there was a 20.5 carat engagement ring involved. We here at Blended Entertainment wish both Kris and Kim the best of luck and happiness. Now all we need is that special date of their wedding, and more space on the D.V.R because we already know that there will be a new show in the works.

Sound off on this engagement below

Sunday Sweeps

There are two playoff series that could end in a sweep today. The Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics could both be in the next round after today. Either way, if they both move on then they will be playing each other. No team in the NBA down 3-0 has never ever came back to win the series. So get your brooms ready on this Easter Sunday.

The key for Miami to win

  • The Big 3. Lebron has been averaging just about 25 PPG while both Wade and Bosh have been pouring in 21 PPG. These three are high octane scorers from all over the court and they set the tempo on both ends.

The Key for Boston to win

  • If Amare does not suit up, that is a big blow to Knicks. Already down 3-0 in the series, all it takes is for the Celts to get great shooting out of Pierce and Allen along with strong post play from Garnett.
