Blended Entertainment’s Take on the Week

Hello readers! It has been a week filled with intense schoolwork, laptop issues, and our typical drama in the entertainment industry. It is time to reflect on just a few things.

  • Nicki Minaj’s video for her song, “Stupid H***” is being denied air time by various music networks, including BET due to being too graphic. I just have to say that this is artistic freedom. I am not saying that I am a fan of the song but it’s a Hype Williams production and he always direct spectacular videos. Nicki  do great in the video. I’ve included a link below of the video.
  • Willow Smith can no longer whip her hair. That’s the buzz going around as a pic surfaced the web of her earlier depicting a shaved head for Willow. There is no word on if this is for a movie or just for kicks.
  • Season 2 of Khloe & Lamar premieres Sunday, February 19th at 10pm est. Many people will say that Khloe is their favorite Kardashian.
  • My thoughts and prayers are with Nick, Aaron, and the rest of the Carter family. Leslie Carter, sister to Nick Carter(Backstreet Boys) and Aaron Carter died earlier this week. The cause of death officially is unknown.
  • Also want to hope Demi Moore is doing alright and hope she gets her life and health back on track. Her whereabouts are unknown after being hospitalized early this week.

Jay-z Releases Track Celebrating Fatherhood

Just 48 hours after becoming a father, Rap Mogul Jay-z released a track titled, Glory which is celebrating fatherhood and the birth of his daughter. This track is produced by the Neptunes. I doubt anyone was expecting a track from either parent so soon, but I must congratulate Jay-z for taking this step.
