How Will USA Basketball Look This Year?
I’d like to preface this post by letting everyone know that NBA TV will televise the live USA Basketball team selection on July 7, at 7 p.m est. By now everyone knows how directly or indirectly the NBA lockout has affected the way Team USA will look this summer. There will be no Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Chauncey Billups, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and now rookie Anthony Davis all due to injury or rehabilitation to a prior injury. Recently Lamar Odom dropped his name from consideration. The wear and tear that some of these athletes endured throughout the season and playoff runs increases the likelihood of replacements once all of the training and exhibition games begin. I am very excited for the London Olympics this year. Here are my predicitons for the 2012 Olympic National team:

Charlie Sheen Still Draws Ratings
Apparently Charlie Sheen happens to still draw millions of viewers even away from his days at Two and a Half Men. Sheen’s new sitcom “Anger Management” debuted as the highest rated premiere in FX history. The first episode that aired garnered 5.5 million viewers while the second episode drew 5.7 million viewers. Charlie Sheen’s new show is loosely based off the 2003 film of the same name which starred Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. If he and the show continues to draw these type of ratings, then expect this show to last quite a few seasons.

Congratulations to British singing superstar Adele as she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki. Adele announced the big news today on her website during a period where everyone was surprised by the Tom Cruise divorce news.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Divorcing
After being together for a little over seven years and being married for five, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting a divorce. You never want to see a marriage fail especially when children are involved. The couple’s daughter Suri will be thrusted into a major custody battle.
Alex Cross Trailer
A movie trailer that has been buzzing as of late via social media has been the trailer for Alex Cross. This movie is based off of James Patterson’s Cross and is due for release in October of this year. If you aren’t familiar with this character that James Patterson created, I recommend reading many of his thriller novels as the character appears in close to twenty novels. Morgan Freeman has portrayed Alex Cross in the movies Along Came A Spider, and Kiss The Girls.This upcoming film stars Tyler Perry as the protagonist Dr.Cross and Matthew Fox as his antagonist.
