Terminator Genisys and Ant-Man

Two blockbuster movies that are both expected in theaters this year have released more revealing trailers earlier today. Not sure what the idea is, but the new Terminator trailer seems to be full of spoilers. The Ant-Man trailer shows Paul Rudd in action and includes some of his interactions with ants. Both movies are due out in July and I’m more excited about Ant-Man. I’m not too excited to the point in which I’ll be rushing to see it opening weekend, but still excited nonetheless. Long term, I want to see how Paul Rudd fits into the Avengers cast if they decide to go that way. I am more interested in Ant-Man being a part of the team and not as a solo character. Paul Rudd would be gold in the copious amount of banter that takes place between Earth’s mightiest heroes. Look out for Thomas The Tank Engine in the Ant-Man trailer. Which blockbuster are you more excited for?

As for Terminator, T1 and T2 are classics and the expectations are very high.

Official Deadpool Outfit Revealed

Comic book fans feel rejoiced. Earlier today Ryan Reynolds tweeted out our very first look at Deadpool channeling Burt Reynolds. Deadpool’s outfit is straight from the comics. Ryan Reynolds is back at the helm as Wade Wilson, a mercenary who is going to bring laughter to moviegoers with his sense humor and breaking of the fourth wall. Deadpool is the perfect character to be adapted to the big screen. His interactions with the audience, and other superheroes should be priceless. I’m glad Ryan Reynolds is back again since portraying him in the Wolverine Origins debacle. He is absolutely the right guy for the part. So good thing they brought him back. Deadpool will be released in February 2016.

Man Of Steel Sequel Gets Title

Warner Bros. Pictures

Warner Bros. Pictures

The anticipated sequel to Zach Snyder’s, Man of Steel is due out on May 6, 2016 but the real story has been what we will be calling this sequel officially. The wait is over. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the full title of the sequel and will star Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill back into form as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Jesse Eisenberg will be bringing his acting chops and presence to the villain, Lex Luthor. What do you think of this title for the sequel? Will you go see it?

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Advanced Warfare is this year’s addition to the Call of Duty family in which there will be a use of hover bikes, exoskeletons, mech suits, and other high-tech future technology. Advanced Warfare will focus on a Private Military Corporation led by Kevin Spacey. This is sure going to be one of the more interesting story-lines to have ever been portrayed in a war game let alone within the ever so dominant Call of Duty franchise. For me personally, Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360 is my all-time favorite. World War II was always intriguing to me. I haven’t truly enjoyed a Call of Duty game since the first Black Ops back in 2010, although the survival mode in Modern Warfare III was fun. The concept of survival mode never gets old. In regards to the Call of Duty franchise, it has gone from a two year cycle plan to a three year cycle plan. So to keep this franchise fresh in the past, two different developers would alternate each year and develop a new Call of Duty game totally unrelated to the other developer’s addition. Now with the next generation of gaming getting into gear, three developers will take turns making a new addition to the series. Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and now Sledgehammer Games will alternate each year.

Sledgehammer Games are developing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and it is due out for release on November 4.
