The 2nd Annual James Mark Golf Classic

On October 26th, the 2nd Annual James Mark Golf Classic occurred. The event featured celebrities and sports figures in Las Vegas for a great day of golf and special events in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. The organization’s vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.
Those who came out to support the wounded warriors included Trina Braxton, Rashida Watler, Chanita Foster, Gabe Solis, Jamal Mixon, Jerod Mixon, Memphitz, Bonnie Jill Laflin, Brad James, Jonna Johnson,Thomas “Tank”Johnson,  Brett Jeffries, Stevie Baggs Jr, Ansia Nyell Johnson, Cece Vance and more.

James Mark’s mission is to show the world the positive side of Hip Hop through philanthropic efforts.

I can always appreciate charitable efforts and I hope to continue to see this kind of support especially for what the Wounded Warrior Project embodies.

Tiger Woods Wins

It is always a story when Tiger wins a golfing event simply because he elevates the golfing world above surface. This past weekend he won The Players Championship. He overcame a double bogey and the late pressure to beat the competition. It was his first win at this event since the year 2001. Also this was his fourth victory this year on the PGA tour.

Tiger Woods Gets Another One

Tiger Woods has yet another victory. Tiger’s victory at the AT&T National this past weekend gives him just three for the season but things are looking up for Mr. Woods. What’s more surprising than Tiger winning, and his consistent ratings increase for networks is the fact that he’ll be taking part in “The Greenbrier Classic” this week. Hopefully Tiger continues to win on the golf course and brings that competitive nature back to the sport of golf because he brings publicity, ratings, and hope to the sport in a way that no other athlete can do for their respective sport.

Will Tiger Be Ready For The Masters?

This has been the question regarding basically every tournament Tiger Woods has played in well over two years. Tiger Woods won the 2012 Arnold Palmer Invitational last week for his first victory tournament victory since 2009. In preparation for the Super Bowl of all golfing events, The Masters, this served as a confidence booster for Tiger and I am hopeful that come April 5th, Tiger will start the beginning of a successful run. It will be good for him, and good for golf.
