Are you ready for some football? Tonight is the beginning of the 2013 NFL season headlined by the Denver Broncos hosting the defending Super Bowl champs. The Baltimore Ravens are out to prove that despite coming into the season after replacing several prominent names from their Super Bowl winning team, that they’re still the champs and the team to beat this year. The Ravens defeated Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in a double ot thriller in the divisional round last season. Elvis Dumervil who suited up for the Broncos for the past six seasons is now a part of the Ravens defensive unit. This game is sure to be a great start to the season.

Randy Moss Back In The NFL

This is an interesting off-season in the NFL simply because of Peyton Manning. Plenty of franchises are trying to lure him to play for their respective franchises. One guy who I’d hope he would be throwing the ball to this year is Randy Moss. Moss retired after a very disappointing 2010 campaign in which we saw Moss play with three different franchises in one season. Randy Moss though decided to come out of retirement because he simply wanted to just “play some football” and I’m excited about it. After working out with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, Moss signed a one year deal with the team. I like this pickup for the 49ers because Moss can stretch the field and be the top option for the team. Moss is an all-time great talent with a spot in Canton when he officially calls it a career. I sure hope the 2012 NFL season brings better fortune to Moss rather than that of the last time we saw him.

Super Bowl XLVI

Today is the day sports and entertainment fans have all been waiting for. Whether it is to root for your favorite team, the halftime show, or tuning in for the commercials, this evening will special to many. The New England Patriots are led by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick who can only move higher to the next plateau  with  a win in this game. Everyone wants to talk about legacies, well four legacies are serving as the main ingredients for this Super Bowl. Those legacies are the aforementioned Brady/Belichick legacy and also the Tom Coughlin/ Eli Manning legacy. The Super Bowl takes place right in Indianapolis where Eli’s older brother Peyton has been the man of that city for many years. This game is a rematch of the match-up that took place at the Super Bowl just four years ago. This year’s halftime show will feature Madonna and many surprises. I expect the halftime show to be visually exceptional.

NFL Playoffs In Full Effect

The NFL’s Wildcard weekend has come and gone but it was full of excitement. The Houston Texans in their first playoff game ever outscored their opponents by 21 points. The Saints outmatched the Detroit Lions in a high scoring game. The Giants only allowed the Falcons to score on a safety, and we also had the Denver Broncos shock the Pittsburgh Steelers in Overtime. Overall, I very much enjoyed Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos game this weekend as well as the clinic that the Giants put on against the Falcons. What will be in store this weekend?English: Tim Tebow, a player on the Denver Bro...
