On September 1, Sandast, the brand known for vintage-inspired American hand-made leather accessories, and Preserve, announced the release of the “James” limited-edition leather carryall that was co-designed by Blake Lively and Sandast designer, Chris Pak. The new carryall style was created following an existing partnership between Sandast and Preserve. In search for the perfect baby bag, Lively turned to the Sandast’s founder Chris Pak in search for a baby bag that is extremely well made and highly functional.
“Sandast’s bags look like the most yummy, restored vintage pieces. They balance the details of beauty with those of function,” remarked Blake Lively. “I didn’t want a diaper bag that I would not carry if I wasn’t a mama. I still wanted to be me. We loved the bag so much that we wanted to make them for more mamas,” Lively added. “This bag will last a lifetime. That’s what it’s built for.”
Sandast surprised Lively by naming the bag the “James”, which is made of 100% premium hand-distressed Horween leather. It is available in Navy, Cognac, Tan and Black. It is lined with Sandast’s signature plaid lining. The bag is 16″ x 13″ by 6″. The James Bag is available in Navy and Tan on Preserve.us for $860 dollars.
