Interview w All Star Weekend
We’re Allstar Weekend. We grew up in a suburb of San Diego, California called Poway. We’ve been friends and bandmates for many years. Writing and performing are our two passions. We love our fans.
We all come from Different musical backgrounds so we have a wide range of influences: Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, Blink-182, R. Kelly, James Browne, Daft Punk.
We’re going on tour with Selena Gomez this summer and would love to do a collaboration with her. Bruce Springsteen or Shania Twain would be a dream-come-true.
This is our dream- we want to continue living it. Failure and success are both fuel for us to work even harder. Our fans inspire us, too. We create a great community with them- we don’t want to let them down.
We read, hang out, and go out to eat. We love going out to eat.
We start our tour with Selena Gomez in late July. We are so excited- this will be the biggest tour we’ve been on to date.
The Big Man: Clarence Clemons
This weekend the entertainment industry has suffered a major lost. Clarence Clemons, who has worked with Bruce Springsteen for four decades as a part of the E Street Band passed away Saturday June 18th. Clarence was an amazing saxophone player(which is one of my favorite musical instruments). He has not only worked with some of the industry’s major artists, but has also made many t.v and film appearances. Clarence was hospitalized last week because of a serious stroke and due to complications of the stroke, the industry lost a great one. Many artists including Lady Gaga took to the social media world to address this lost. Our condolences are with his family as they cope with their loss.
Clarence also has an autobiography titled, Big Man:Real Life & Tall Tales
